As a result of our own respective heartfelt experiences with trauma and tragedy we have managed to turn ours and our children's darkness into light. We share our journey into our new found chapter, along with our 4 kids as a happy healthy modern blended family.
We believe that kidz are the future and as parents it is our responsibility not to inflict our own trauma’s, fears and insecurities onto our children (which evidence shows leads to increased mental illness) but instead to encourage them to speak freely, be themselves, possess a healthy self- love and understand that they are the true masters of their own destiny.
As parents having dealt with trauma and all the challenges and lessons throughout the stages of our healing journey we were inspired to establish TTDWK as a non-for profit charitable foundation.
Through TTDWK we provide a one stop platform of information/support & prevention resources that focusses on effective support, management and prevention of mental illnesses caused by traumatic life experiences, including Bereavement, PTSD, Abuse Recovery, Anxiety and Depression in children, parents and families.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
